Modern national conservatism or, in other words, the populist right adopts the ‘nation first’ slogan as its banner and opposes the practices of globalisation, but only on the surface. There are plenty of things they can blame for everything that is going wrong in their countries: Soros, Satanism, ‘woke’ culture, communism or LGBT people. They may denounce neoliberal capitalism as the devil, yet they don't hesitate to carry out the largest privatisations in their country’s history or driving the masses into a life of insecurity. The power of the neoliberal globalisation ideology stems from its ability to manage its opponents in a manner unprecedented in history.

As I claimed in my article, as an example, the modern market economy transformed the anti-globalist movements into a pawn (I examined the terrorist organisations) in the modern chess game of international relations because of the consept of commodification. You may see my piece of work if you wish.
