Professor Vicki Squire is Professor of International Relations at the University of Warwick. Her work cuts across the fields of migration, citizenship, humanitarian and border studies with a focus on policies and practices through which migration is governed, the dynamics and consequences of humanitarian practice in contexts of displacement, and the politics of migration and solidarity activism. Her recent work includes Making and Unmaking Global Citizenship: Lived Experiences of Precarious Migration (Edinburgh: Edinburgh University Press), “You already know enough: Certainty and Ignorance in Data-Driven Humanitarianism” (with B. Jones), Reclaiming Migration: Voices from Europe's 'Migrant Crisis' (Manchester: Manchester University Press with N. Perkowski, D. Stevens, and N. Vaughan-Williams) and Europe's Migration Crisis: Border Deaths and Human Dignity (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press).
