This didn't go well at all.

I was a long-time subscriber via RSS. The 'migration' wasn't even announced there, the feed is simply dead. But the failure of preserving redirects is the biggest disaster here and will cost a lot of traffic. For a publisher with 10,000+ pieces accumulated since 2007, preserving incoming links should have been one of the top priority requirements before touching anything. And now we're on Substack and 'reader supported', where every paid subscriber also sends Substack at least 10% of the amount.

hi Miguel. Sorry for the disruption and for being unable to preserve the links, as the change of platform made this impossible. Actually our readership has already doubled since we moved here, and we're more than happy to give substack 10% for all that they offer.
